Dabetswe Natasha

Dabetswe Natasha was born in 1977 in Burma. She then grew up in Singapore, immigrated to Canada and finally settled down in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, United States of America. She has been writing short fiction, reflective prose and poetry since she was 12. Her writings were published on the online magazine WritOracle, an underground magazine Bleach, the Haight and Ashbury Literary Journal, the 16th and Mission Review, and the online magazine San Francisco Peace and Hope. Affinity of Our Chemistry, Snap Shots, and Feathers on Peacock: Writings on Revolution are three of her self-published books. Some of her writings are also on her blog at http://dabetswe.wordpress.com. She performs poetry readings from time to time, and was once very active at Poetry Mission Open Mic in San Francisco. Her professional training was in Counseling Psychology. She currently practices counseling online, teaches a course on psychology at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and presents at workshops on psychology in Burma.
