David McLoghlin (Dublin, Ireland, 1972) is author of The Magic Door and Waiting for Saint Brendan and Other Poems (second prize in the Patrick Kavanagh Awards) and translator of Sign Tongue by Enrique Winter (winner of the Goodmorning Menagerie Chapbook-in-Translation Prize). He was awarded First Class Honors for his Master’s thesis on the Spanish poet Luis Cernuda at University College Dublin and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. His work has been interpreted on the stage and in film, and has appeared in Irish and American journals of note. McLoghlin also holds an MFA in Creative Writing at NYU and together with his wife Adrienne Brock runs The Eagle and the Wren reading series.
