His pen name is Kyaw Nyo Thway. He was born in New Delhi on 23rd August 1984, when his father was working there as a military attaché. He passed high school from BEHS 1, Hlaing Thaya, and joined Dagon University (distance education) majoring Economics. He received B.A (Economics) in 2004/5.
When he passed high school, he worked at a factory. When he joined university (distance learning), he worked as a training guide at a computer training center. When he got the degree, he worked as a training supervisor at an education centre. In 2007 he worked as a supervisor at a cyber café. From 2011 to 2013 he worked as a senior reporter at Mobile Guide journal. Since 2014 he has been working as a freelance copywriter writing commercials. Since 2015 he has been working as a full-time copywriter at Wave Digital Marketing Agency (Mango Media).
In 2007 he started his own blog, www.kyawnyothway.blogspot.com, to write aesthetic works like Khit Por poetry, essay, satire, and article. In 2013, when he was working as a senior reporter, he wrote fictions in periodicals. When Facebook became popular in Burma, he made https://web.facebook.com/KyawNyoThway/ for his writings. In 2009, with other poems by bloggers, his poems were seen at Poetry Exhibition, Dagaung Gallery. He is the author of the book of essays, Chocolate Essay (2013). With ‘RGB Script Syndicate’ group he has been writing commercials and film scripts since 2015.
His very first published poem was a long poem, Father’s Face, featured in Fashion Image magazine, January issue, 2005.
