Award-winning poet Lynn Zinyaw (b-1986) began writing poetry and prose in 2010. His works have been featured in local magazines since 2011. His debut poetry collection, Machine Gun, was published in 2014. He started his new project, Burmese Alphabet Concrete Visual Art (www.burmesevispo.com), in which he creates Typography and Visual Art/Poetry by using Burmese alphabets. He was born in Yangon and grew up in Mergui, one of the island cities of southern Burma. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine, Magway in 2009 and is still practising medicine.
